Wet Look Lash Extensions in Chiang Mai: What They Are and Who They Suit (2026)
Sharp, glossy spikes with visible gaps. How wet look differs from volume, who it suits, and the three versions.

By Ying, certified lash artist · My Lash House · Published October 17, 2026
Wet look lash extensions look like your lashes just came out of the water: fans closed into sharp, glossy spikes with visible gaps between them. The eye reads bigger and more defined, like three coats of good mascara, without any mascara at all.
This guide covers how wet look differs from regular volume, which eye shapes it suits, the three versions, what it costs in Chiang Mai, and how long it lasts.
The short answer
Wet look lash extensions close each handmade fan into a sharp spike for a glossy, defined, wet-lash finish. At My Lash House in Chiang Mai the style is called Wet Look, at ฿1,290. It suits anyone who wants crisp, camera-ready definition with no eye makeup. Every set uses 100% handmade fans, you can shower after 2 hours, and the 3-day retouch guarantee is included. For maximum drama, see the Wet Barbie version below.
What are wet look lash extensions?
The name comes from how lashes behave when they're wet: they clump into small, dark, pointed groups. Lash artists recreate that by closing each fan at the tip so it forms a spike instead of opening into a fan.
Three things make a wet look set:
- Closed spikes. Each fan reads as one thicker lash, not a fluffy fan.
- Visible gaps. Spikes sit in a rhythm with space between them, so the eye looks open, not heavy.
- A glossy finish. The spikes catch the light like wet lashes, which shows beautifully in photos and video.
How is wet look different from regular volume?
Regular volume opens each fan, so the lash line looks soft, fluffy and dense, like a line of eyeliner.
Wet look closes each fan into a spike, so the lash line looks sharp and defined, like natural lashes with mascara that has set.
If you love soft and fluffy, choose volume or Wispy Volume. If you want sharp and graphic, wet look is your style.
Which eye shapes suit wet look lashes?
Visible double eyelid or larger eyes. An excellent match; every spike stays in view.
Monolid or hooded eyes. Very doable. Spikes that are too short disappear under the lid, so Ying chooses a higher curl and lengths that clear it, keeping the gaps visible.
Round eyes. Longest spikes toward the outer corner to elongate.
Small eyes. Often better than dense volume, because the gaps keep the eye from looking covered. Stick to mid lengths.
For every eye shape in detail, see the lash style guide by eye shape.
What versions of wet look are there?
Everyday wet look
Fine spikes at mid length. Definition without weight, for anyone who wants to wake up with defined eyes and go straight to work.
Wet look wispy
Long and short spikes alternate for the Western glam look, sharp and glossy. Read more about the wispy style in the wispy lash extensions guide.
Wet Barbie
A dense Mega Volume base with the glossy finish and a lifted cat-eye corner. The most dramatic member of the family, for events and shoots. Details in the Barbie lash extensions guide.
How much do wet look lash extensions cost in Chiang Mai?
| Style | Price |
|---|---|
| Wet Look | ฿1,290 |
| Mega Volume (the Wet Barbie base) | ฿1,190 |
| Wispy Volume (for fluffy wispy instead) | ฿1,490 |

How long do wet look lashes last?
They look sharpest for the first two weeks. As your natural lashes shed on their normal cycle, the spikes start to space out unevenly; a refill every 2 to 3 weeks brings the rhythm back. Week-by-week detail is in how long lash extensions last.
How do I care for wet look lashes?
The studio uses a fast-cure adhesive, so you can shower 2 hours after your appointment. After that:
- Cleanse daily with an oil-free lash foam.
- Brush gently from root to tip each morning so the spikes fall back into rhythm.
- Sleep on your back or use a silk pillowcase; spikes lose their shape quickly if you sleep face-down.
- Skip mascara. It glues spikes together and makes them hard to clean.
The full rules are in the lash aftercare guide.
